The Dawn of Equus Rescue & Sanctuary is a special place of healing for women, horses and nature. Founder, Dr. Sandie G. Hucal, has created an innovative program that integrates Equine-Facilitated Wellness (EFW) and Nature-Centred Therapy (NCT) with a rescue for horses and donkeys. The therapy herd consists primarily of equines rescued from neglect, abuse or slaughter.
