Luna is a yearling Percheron filly, who was rescued from auction last November as a weanling. She was very despondent at the auction mart and had bilateral eye infections.

Luna perked up very quickly after arriving at The Dawn of Equus. She is a very trusting "little" horse, who really loves being around people.
Luna is an old soul in a young horse's body. She is a natural at Equine-Facilitated Wellness. It was discovered that she has severe osteochondrosis, so The Dawn of Equus Sanctuary will be her lifelong home.
